The development includes:
Large-scale industrial allotments;
Industrial collector roads for B-double vehicles;
Trunk services infrastructure; and
Vehicular bridge over existing railway.
Burchills Engineering Solutions was responsible for:
All civil works including bulk earthworks in excess of 970,000 cubic metres in the first 2 stages;
Overall water supply and sewerage planning reports and schematics;
Major regional drainage works;
Flood storage assessments;
Trunk industrial collector roads;
Large-span vehicular bridge over railway, using “Super-T” girders;
Major QDMR Intersection with Brisbane Road, including design for B-Double vehicles;
Large regional sewer pump station. (4m dia. well);
Assistance with master planning and major traffic routes analysis for overall development; and
Incorporation of on-road ‘rain-gardens’ and end of line bio-retention treatment devices within the stormwater drainage system.
