Sentosa Cove, Singapore

Sentosa Cove, at the gateway to Singapore City, is possibly South East Asia’s most prestigious waterfront development, covering 117 hectares incorporating: 75 hectares of reclamation, including a major fully tidal marina; Semi-tidal canal precincts with capacity for over 650 pleasure craft and 10 mega-yacht berths.

Burchills provided conceptual and detailed designs for the following:

  • Detailed engineering and marina/waterways planning since 1993, including review and detailed revisions to the Spoerry Concept
  • Marina conceptual planning and layout design
  • Main harbour entrance and harbour revetments, including civil and structural engineering design and supervision
  • Southern Canals entrance, internal revetments and tidal flushing design
  • Design of a seawater pumping facility to raise the water level of a pond between Sentosa Cove and the Serapong Golf Course
